1 | You need 1 of ready made short crust pastry. |
2 | Take of ready made Puff Pastry. |
3 | It’s of egg yolk. |
4 | It’s 400 g of cooled Mash Potato (you can use ready made or frozen). |
5 | You need 340 g of Corned Beef chopped. |
6 | About 1/2 of white onion chopped (can be frozen or ready chopped). |
7 | Take 1 tsp of Garlic Granules. |
8 | Take to taste of salt and black pepper. |

Step 1 | If you are using frozen ingredients make sure these have thawed out first.. |
Step 2 | Pre heat oven 180 or 160 Fan. |
Step 3 | Line your pie tins with the short crust pastry and place in the fridge. |
Step 4 | In a large bowl add your Potato, corn beef onion and seasonings including the garlic granules and thoroughly mix.. |
Step 5 | Remove the pie case or cases from the fridge and generously fill. |
Step 6 | Cover in the Puff pasty trim and crimp brush with the egg yolk and place back in the fridge to rest for 30 mins. |
Step 7 | After 30 mins remove and brush with the egg a gain sprinkle with a little salt and pepper and place in your preheated oven for 30 mins, check and if needed a little more check every 10 mins until deep golden brown. |
