2 | Prepare 250 ml of sunflower oil, to fry. |

Step 1 | Soak cod in cold water for approximately 24 hours prior to cooking, changing the water 3-4 times within that period.. |
Step 2 | Dab in kitchen roll to remove excess water.. |
Step 3 | Add enough flour in a shallow bowl to coat the fish.. |
Step 4 | Cut the cod portions into smaller pieces.. |
Step 5 | In a frying pan pour in the oil and heat on a medium heat.. |
Step 6 | One by one coat the pieces and carefully drop into the frying pan.. |
