1 | It’s 450 grams of lamb mince. |
2 | Take 1 tbsp of olive oil. |
3 | Approximately 1 of onion, chopped. |

5 | About 150 grams of diced pumpkin. |
6 | You need 2 of diced carrots. |
7 | Take 1 tsp of Bisto or cornflour. |
8 | About 200 ml of lamb stock ( out of half cube). |

Bonfire Shepherds pie cooking instructions
Step 1 | Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F or 170°C for fan ovens. |
Step 2 | Brown the lamb with the oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and rest of the vegetables and cook for about 3 minutes.. |
Step 3 | Add stock and seasoning (I like adding a bit of Worcestershire sauce) and simmer for 20 minutes covered.. |
Step 4 | Mix Bisto with some water to make smooth paste. Add to mixture stirring until thickened. Simmer for 3 minutes.. |
Step 5 | Boil potatoes and parsnips until tender and mash together.. |
Step 6 | Tip mixture of vegetables into heatproof dish and cover with mash.. |
Step 7 | Cook for 40 to 45 minutes and serve with vegetables. |
